Sea Girt 2

The pavilion in Sea Girt. Taken at about 7am with the great early morning light. I think this may be my favorite HDR so far. I learned an important rule with this shot: for an HDR image to come out to be spectacular, the light has to be there. IE, if you take a midday shot, HDR will not make the natural lighting any more interesting. Sure, its easier to make midday lit shots look better using HDR, but to really make a great image, you need amazing light. Of course, most people are saying, duh. But I felt it needed to be said!

We’ve been traveling recently – so I figured that despite these NOT being NJ (and since so many Jersians go to Aruba anyway) that I’d post some HDRs that we captured there. Also coming soon – a trip down to Tennessee including Nashville AND Graceland in Memphis.
