This huge tree is in our back yard.  We cut the vines so they would stop growing &#8211; they certainly did!  I figured the difference between the live leaves and the dead vines would make for an interesting HDR&#8230;  And it did.

I haven&#8217;t been able to get out and take any photos lately &#8211; maybe tonight.  The summer weather doesn&#8217;t seen conducive to making great outdoor HDR&#8217;s.  No clouds lately, either its clear or hazy.  But anyway, I took my 10-20mm Sigma out and took a great shot of the house.  Its [...]]]></description>

<p>This is my cat in his usual pose.  This was an experiment with my new Sigma f1.4 30mm lens on the D70.  It was HDR&#8217;d from a single NEF file that was developed in Lightroom.  Not bad &#8211; but not a great HDR.  The lens is great though, it&#8217;ll certainly be my standard lens from now on.  Great for low light indoor shots, or nighttime scenes.  It takes quite a bit of practice to nail a close portrait at f1.4 but its doable!</p>
