School One

Passaic School One is a great building, on Van Houten avenue. Now, half the lot is covered with trailers due to overcrowding. It’s still an awesome building. According to the Passaic BOE, it was built in 1927. More about School One here.

Factory

I went out tonight shooting some interesting subjects during magic hour. I learned a few things. First, handheld isn’t going to work most of the time with bracketed sequences. But I already knew that, kinda. Second, the coolest stuff to shoot is in the most dangerous neighborhoods. Third, it needs to be darker out than you think - or - you need nicer cloud formations / sun cover. So, anyway, I have come up with a few new HDR’s, but nothing quite spectacular, yet. But I’m getting there !

I pass this on the way to church - it’s some sort of demolition project. Kinda a shady neighborhood but it’s getting better!
