Yesterday was a beautiful day so I took my gear up to Garret Mountain in West Paterson to get some shots of not just foliage but some of the old structures around the park.  I’ll publish these images over the next couple of weeks.  Here is the first:

I know, I use this angle WAY too much.  You know, a lot of my HDRs are actually handheld (Not recommended).  For some reason, I hold this angle still.  But I have a better tripod now, so expect less of this:

I haven’t made my foliage photography trip yet.  This year, it’ll be the area around High Point.  But I caught these trees at sunset and did some tone mapping to make a nice image:
